Parker: On The Road To 'Death Panels'

By Star Parker

With the first presidential debate and the only vice presidential debate behind us, it seems pretty clear that so-called social issues are not going to get much attention in this year's presidential politics. It's unfortunate, I think. We deceive ourselves to permit the assumption that values and behavior are not the real drivers behind our economic problems.

The fiscal crisis of our entitlement programs is the direct result of these values and behavior.

The fiscal soundness of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid is rooted in the assumption that those working can fund the needs of our elderly through payroll taxes. In the case of Social Security, we're talking about retirement income, in the case of Medicare, health costs of the aged, and Medicaid, long-term care of low-income elderly.

When these programs were founded, the approach of using payroll taxes to fund care for our elderly seemed like a viable idea. The bottom has fallen out, however, because of changes in our behavior. There are fewer and fewer workers per retiree as result of longer life spans and a shrinking work force.

In 1950, there were 16 working Americans for every retiree. Today, there are fewer than three workers per retiree. According to projections, there will be less than two by 2030.

It doesn't take a supercomputer to realize that if we don't reduce the retirement and health care resources available to our elderly, the burden on each working American to provide those resources increases substantially when they must be provided for each retiree by two rather than sixteen workers.

Yet the discussion about this crisis is 100 percent focused on how to cut the spending, and zero attention is spent on restoration of values that could rebuild families, produce more children and stop destroying the unborn.

According to a new report just out from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the overall fertility rate of American women -- defined by the number of births per 1000 women ages 15 to 44 -- is the lowest ever recorded since the government started gathering this information.

According to demographers, a fertility rate of 2.1 is necessary to keep a population at a steady state -- which means that the overall population remains the same size over time. The 2.1 rate means that each adult woman produces 2.1 children on average over her lifetime.

After years of the U.S. fertility rate hovering slightly above 2.1, it has now dropped below to 1.9. Which means the overall U.S. population would be shrinking, but for immigration. We generally look to Europe to see low fertility rates and shrinking populations. However, according to the Economist magazine, the U.S., at 1.9, now has a fertility rate lower than France, at 2.0.

A change in prevailing values could reverse this trend. But the opposite is happening. According to a new Gallup poll, for the first time, the majority of Americans feel that government should not promote any particular set of values.

In 1993, the first year that Gallup did this annual survey, 53 percent said that government should promote traditional values, and 42 percent said that no particular set of values should be promoted. Now, in this latest survey, it is the opposite. Fifty-two percent say no particular set of values should be promoted, and 44 percent say government should promote traditional values.

With no rebirth of traditional values that could lead to more babies, caring for our elderly will become an increasingly onerous burden. Where can this soulless materialism lead? In a recent New York Times op-ed, New York investment banker, and former counselor to the Treasury secretary in the Obama administration, Steven Rattner, provides a shockingly candid answer.

The op-ed begins by saying, "We need death panels." Rattner then qualifies this by saying, well, maybe not "exactly." His conclusion on depriving ailing elderly patients of treatment: "We may shrink from ... stomach-wrenching choices, but they are inescapable."

You will not be the one deciding if you are worth more care or not! Obummer will and his death panels! You will be just a number. And if they say you are not going to get additional care if you are sick. You wont get it! The younger stronger illegal aliens, welfare recipients and the 47% er’s will get the care and abortions. YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE PILL!

As Senator Helm might say if he was still living,”Congressional Thieves saw the huge SS Fund. It was in a private fund and limited to certain uses for those who chipped in to it weekly from their payroll checks. They at last succeeded in moving it from private to the general fund where they could get at it. The rest is history. They have made it an entitlement to everyone whether you put money in it or not.”

We need to make all…. including our ….congressmen to join the program and to accept the same insurance that we get….no more Obamacare. Give everyone a job and let them take out insurance of some type for their own use. Let them contribute to SS and then someday be able to use it when they need it. It can only work when you limit the number of hands cutting into the pie! There isn’t enough pie to feed the world….just those who contributed…that is all!

Medicare and Social Security are bankrupt because our cowardly and corrupt congress and administration(past and present)have stolen the money that has been and is being paid by the working population. Had the government invested wisely, the social security funds available for retirement would be many times the value that it is. But they raided the funds (not only the current administration)and now act like they are doing the senior citizens a favor. They are not. The working population and their employers paid billions of dollars over the years to fund these programs. It is not the congress paying “entitlements” as if they were doing seniors a favor. What seniors get is simply a return on an investment that was forced by the government over the years. Just as this administration blames their failures on anyone and anything handy, congress is blaming the seniors for being paid back their investment. The problem is not the programs, it is the corrupt liars that we send to D.C.

” Had the government invested wisely, the social security funds available for retirement would be many times the value that it is.”

Had they even invested blindly in the DJIA the value of the SS funds would be MUCH MUCH greater then they are now. In part because the DJIA went up a LOT over the last 50+ years and in part because there would actually be money in the fund instead of I.O.U.s

I’ve been watching in amazement how the blatant thievery committed by Congress on the Social Security fund is NEVER mentioned in these discussions about the “Social Security crisis.”

Of course Congress did not pay into this fund, and they have their own very cushy retirement program, so the blunt truth is, they do not give a rat’s a$$ about the “Social Security crisis” because they don’t think it affects them. Which, of course, is a BIG part of the problem.

But they KNEW when they stole the money that retirement age was looming for the Baby Boomers–the largest single population group in the history of the country. Never mind that the “baby boomers” paid INTO the SS fund their entire working lives and contributed RECORD AMOUNTS of money–the thieves in Congress stole it all, knowing FULL WELL they could NEVER replace the money before Baby Boomers started retiring in large numbers.

And now that Baby Boomers are retiring and there is NO MONEY left in the fund, they do what government liars and thieves ALWAYS do–they blame the victims! Just watch them point at the retiring “baby boomers” with their lips curled in a sneer while they talk about “entitlements” as though the Baby Boomers were asking for a free gift instead of expecting retirement benefits they PAID FOR.

There are no words to express the perfidy committed by the lying, amoral THIEVES in Congress who committed this theft, and my opinion of the “media” who does not have the guts to talk about this blatant thievery is not much higher.

I am one of the older seniors that fall in here, We are very upset, we played by the rules, paid in for 40 yrs, when we reach an age where we need some help, the answer is no ! take a pain pill and die,So the game changes in the middle of the road. What’s more not one word is mentioned about adjusting our rates if we are not going to get the help we need. Now multiply this by 50 million seniors and we have a problem folks. I am being very controlled here, I can’t write how I actually feel.

That is what we get by electing thieving demoncrats! AND LETTING THEM CONTROL CONGRESS FOR ALL THOSE YEARS! They were the ones that voted to make the SSS fund part of the general fund! Demoncrats started taxing it under Clinton. Jimmy “the peanut man Carter” started to give it to retired immigrants even if they never worked in the U.S. And for all to know! Lyndon Johnson with a demoncratically controlled congress put it into the general fund for them to raid and steal from! So if you are a demoncrat and voted demoncraticly all your life, guess what!……… YOU WERE PART OF THE PROBLEM!

So those are the facts if you don’t believe me GOOGLE IT!

Perhaps we should be looking at the size of the work force instead of the size of the retiree population. We have a huge percentage of people unemployed – with many of them not wanting to work, but making their livings off the government. That’s the same government that took OUR money for years with the promise that WE would be getting it back. Instead, it is supporting the huge percentage of welfare recipients.

Any political party that would overwhelmingly support the aborting of a human fetus for nothing more than the mere economic concerns of the mother, would be more than willing to abort seniors for the mere economic concerns of the country. Fact, babies cost mothers a lot to raise and the elderly cost the country a lot to care for in their golden years. Just something to think about on November 6th, especially if you are getting older…

“Abortion on demand” decreases respect for life in general. It accustoms people to the idea of “killing for convenience” and suddenly the unthinkable idea of euthanizing retirees so the govt. NEVER has to make good on the worthless IOUs which are all that remain of the STOLEN Social Security funds is not so unthinkable, and may soon become acceptable to the public. Everybody, of course, except the retirees who are expected to die to avoid “inconveniencing” Congress by expecting them to pay back the Social Security funds they STOLE after we paid in all our working lives.

I predicted when Congress FIRST started “dipping into” the Social Security fund that after they had stolen all the money, they would start blaming those of us who paid into it for “freeloading” on the govt., to give them an excuse to default on the IOUs and eliminate those of us who provided the funds they stole.

Legalized abortion on demand is the camel’s nose in the tent, and it won’t be long until the ENTIRE camel of euthanasia for the benefit and convenience of “society” pushes its way into the tent as well.

Have you not noticed the alarming increase of live-born babies being left to die in dumpsters, etc.? People who have been conditioned to believe that killing the unborn is “no big deal” don’t see why it’s a problem to kill them AFTER they’re born, if it is more “convenient” than taking responsibility for raising a child. It’s not that big a leap from infanticide to pushing a pill down grandma’s throat so you don’t have to worry about HER, either.

Instead of killing more people why not look into the consitution and adhere to its law of money creation? Let’s focus on the forfathers’ wisdom because all use money and it alone is the source of war, greed, dispair and scarcity. When will this happen? Probably as soon as we want to accept the glaring fact that the money system is fake. It is a system of debt and servitude. Economic slavery has put the human being to such a low unconscious vibration that we take our orders from bankers who only want to eliminate us in the end.

Most people that had a love one pass away with a disease like cancer already knows death panels have been a part of the healthcare insurance companies for decades. In my family members case the death panel was called the tumor board. They make the decision whether surgery or other alternative treatment would be authorized by the insurance for future treatment. If your too old or bad health they make the decision to cut off your medical treatment a.k.a. death panels by morphine drip. Wake up America!

Absolutely true. Cancer treatment usually proves so debilitating that you can no longer work, which means you lose your private insurance, which means a middle class person has no way to pay the thousands upon thousands of dollars cancer treatments cost. Watch how quick they decide that you are “not a candidate for further surgery, chemo, radiation, etc.” after your insurance is gone.

I see all these people on SS but one of the huge problems is people demanding SSI Disability. All i6t takes is a shyster lawyer and a court date and you have another leech on the take who may have never paid a cent into SS. Then there is not only the Illegals but the legal immigrants that have never paid a cent or a minimum amount sucking it dry.
There needs to be an audit and remove people from the system that are draining the resources and a certain person in the white house that is stealing from SS.

You need to do some research and understand a few things about the Social Security system. You mentioned SSI (Supplemental Security Income) which is simply a welfare handout to “low-income people”. That should never have been a part of the social security program. Now, you are talking about SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) and NO ONE can be approved for SSDI if they are “another leech on the take who may have never paid a cent into SS”.

A person cannot qualify for Social Security or SSDI unless Social Security Administration can verify through their records that you have worked the required number of quarters to meet the criteria.

Now I have heard on several occasions that “illegal immigrants” are eligible for Social Security, but how can their work record be verified through the Administration’s records since they are being paid under the table and probably using a bogus Social Security number? If it can be proven that ONE illegal alien is receiving social security benefits, there should be legal action taken immediately against the Social Security Administration.

For the most part you are absolutely correct, but SSI is not a welfare handout for low income people. To qualify for SSI payments a person does have to be found disabled by a Administrative Law Judge that is employed by SSA and also the person seeking benefits has to have a work history within a period of 18 months prior to applying for SSI. The amount of credits earned during this 18 month period to qualify for SSI is less than a person that applies for SSDI, but they do need this work history requirement.

It’s simple if you happen to be from the right country. If you are from Mexico, you can get anything.

As for social security payments, FDR promised that they would never be touched by the government and that it would be held for the people that put it in the account. As soon as they got it passed, they had their lawyers up to the Supreme Court trying to get their hands on it and they did. It was also a rip off at the time since most people would not live to collect a cent and the government knew it. What they didn’t plan on was the age increasing and the people living longer. They continued to take the money and spend it just like always and paying out of the fund as it was paid in, but now it is getting to the point that there will not be enough people working to pay into the plane for the number that are retired.

Because the government has been stealing the money all these years, it is going to run out and there is nothing we can do about it to stop that. It is very simply the numbers that will be working verses the number that will be retired. They can’t pay it out anymore.

What has been talked about is taking the younger people that can afford to do this and put them on a private retirement account, but there are a lot of Congressmen that don’t like that idea, because they would not have control over your retirement account and you would not be dependent on the government for a pay check.

There is a county in Texas that opted out back in the 70′s when that was still possible, but the government stopped that fast after people started opting out. Now they are up for retirement, instead of getting a small paycheck they MAY be able to JUST live on, most are getting close to what they made or with some, more then they were making during their working life. These people are living on a retirement check that is great and they can still afford to do things just like when they were working, but go on Social Security and you are lucky of you can put food on the table and make you bills too.

The only reason Romney’s plan is not going over very well, is because the Democrats are scaring the old folks into thinking they will loose what little check they are getting now. That is not true, but they don’t know any better then what they are told.

The people that could get on a plan not controlled by the government would be miles ahead of any government plan, but they are not about to let them if they can help it. They still want you dependent on them even if it means they will run out of money in 10 or 15 years……….

This government is past corruption and something needs to be done about them. If not, then you can look forward to losing your health care, SS income, and maybe your life if they come out with these death panels they are talking about now…………….

When Social Security was set up under the Roosevelt Administration, it was to be put in a locked box account and to be used for nothing else. It was taken from that account and put in the general fund and replaced with worthless IOU’s. LBJ needed it to help finance his little political playground venture AKA the Viet Nam War. There is no “if” about the death panels. They are already in place and called the Independent Payment Advisory Board. Google it. It’s all there.

Elementary. First, we kill the babies. Fifty million so far. At least 35 million of them would be productive citizens now contributing to Social Security and paying taxes. Why is is that nobody wants to talk about this? We could have a booming economy now with 35 million more consumers and taxpayers. Second, as already has been cited, Congress raided the Social Security trust fund – and they stole the money paid by hard-working Americans who thought they were making a prudent retirement investment (which it was intended to be.) Third, the Obama adminstration is out recruiting people to apply for permanent Social Security disability benefits as part of their effort to make as many people as possible dependent on government so they will vote for Democrats. One in 18 Americans is now on permanent disabilty! Finally, the result: because Congress has stolen the hard-earned investments of the elderly, there’s no way that seniors can be paid the earned return on their investment. Solution? Obamacare and euthanasia – or death panels. We can eliminate the problem of the government not having enough to meet its obligations to seniors under Social Security by eliminating the seniors. Voila! Problem solved.

@ David in MA. You are so right about NAFTA and GATT. There are quite a few things that have come about by those agreements. In 1994, the unions were vehemently against NAFTA and GATT. In spite of that, the lame duck Democrat Senate passed it and President Clinton, a Democrat, signed it. Who did the unions support in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008 and the Mid-Term elections? The same party that cut their throats in 1994 by approving NAFTA and GATT. And that isn’t all that came about by those treaties. Chinese workers not only got the jobs shipped to China, but they are also taking jobs here in America. Diane Sawyer of ABC News (NOT FOX) has reported that bridges in New York, California and Alaska are being rebuilt for several billion dollars. They will not be built by American contractors and workers using American made materials and American made equipment. The contracts have been given to Chinese contractors using Chinese materials, Chinese non-union workers and Chinese equipment. Over three thousand jobs American union workers will not get. How about the ripple effect involving American companies and workers that could have done those jobs and the American manufactures that could have produced the materials and equipment? I think the union members better watch their backs. As soon as Obama doesn’t need them anymore, he will throw them under the bus. From what I have seen so far, it seems to me that he has already started to do just that.

It would be interesting to see the statistics on who paid into the Social Security System and who has not paid into the system that are collecting benefits.
It would also be interesting to review exactly what the rules are for collecting SS and SSI, regarding what an individual paid into the system. I will be the first to admit it that I know very little about SS and I have been paying into the system for the past 36 years.
If the government would not have been robbing the system, and if it were used for what it was designed to be used for I do not believe that there would be any problems.
It would also be interesting to know that the estimated losses are from fraud, waste and abuse of the system.
And last, if our beloved congress and senators were also depending on the Social Security System I am sure that some of the problems would be resolved.
As for taxes — when you take into account sales tax, property taxes, SS, Medicare State and local taxes, I bet I pay more than 50%

I guess we can always go to Mexico or India for our medical needs. Unless that is made illegal too.

Strange that a new movie in several CDs is being made of “Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand. If you haven’t read it, it would be an eye opener. Maybe 500 pages and no pictures. I just got the second CD entitled “Reardon Steel”, so it’s just getting you to wonder “Who is John Galt”.

I remember reading it in the late 50′s when she wrote it and thinking this can never happen in our country. Looks like I was wrong if something isn’t done and I don’t think we can look to congress to do their job.

I think if the government could pay their IOU’s to the “trust” fund social security would be in much better shape and then the seniors would not be such a burden to those still in the work force.

The problem isn’t republicans or democrats, it’s all of congress. They give free social security, Medicare, schooling, food stamps, reduced housing and tuition etc. to illegal aliens that have done nothing to deserve it. The politicians are using our money to buy the votes that will keep them in their cushy BS jobs. But if we must throw rocks at one party, let’s start with the democrats who let Obama rise to the top of their party and by sweet talking (with the help of the media) the country with his lies, became President. If the democrats didn’t vet him before letting him rise, they should all be voted out of office for negligence and if they did, they should be voted out for their greed and power grabbing rather than for the good of the country as they should. Term limits would solve a lot of our problems, but that will never happen. We’d be asking the bums to end their own free ride.

Here’s a short term solution I like. It costs the taxpayers about $55,000/year for every illegal alien in the country. Let’s hire a bunch of border guards for $40,000/year, arm them and teach them to shoot and give them $100 for every illegal alien they catch. For those that manage to get past the guards and are caught, let them spend a few months in Sheriff Arpaio’s care, wear some pink drawers, eat bologna sandwiches and dig irrigation canals in the hot Arizona sun. I’ll bet that we’ll see a lot less coming back. That will save us $15,000/year per illegal alien captured or kept out and employ hundreds if not thousands of legal citizens who will be paying taxes. As the illegal alien invasion and population is reduced, let natural attrition reduce the border guard work force. If they want, let them join our armed services. They’d already be trained. This will stop the politicians from giving our money away to buy votes or grant stealth amnesty like is being done now pandering to the Mexicans.

Paying down our national debt can be handled easily by ending foreign aid to those countries that do not support our position and stop jumping into the middle of every war on the face of the earth we can find. Apparently most of the world hates us anyway, so what are we losing? Getting out of the United Nations would be another good move. All we’re doing is funneling our money through a second tier of crooks to countries that already hate us.

Who made us the High Sheriff and police and bread basket to the world in the first place anyway?

ONE IMPORTANT FACTOR I BELIEVE WAS LEFT OUT ON SS AND THAT IS THAT SCROUNDREL LYNDON JOHNSON, democrat, GOT CONGRESS TO VOTE TO MAKE SS A PART OF THE GENERAL FUND AND TRANSFERRED THE SS ASSETTS TO THE GENERAL FUND AND TOOK A SELF SUPPORTING PROGRAM AND MADE IT AN “ENTITLEMENT” TO BE FUNDED IN EACH FEDERAL BUDGET AND, OF COURSE, CONGRESS PROMPTLY SPENT SS FUNDS ON THEIR PORK PROJECTS. IF THE CONGRESS HAD LEFT SS IN IT’S OWN TRUST FUND IT MIGHT HAVE REACHED THE POINT OF REDUCING WITHOLDINGS AND PERHAPS REDIRECT FUNDS TO MEDICARE. THE SOLUTION IS THAT WE ELECT BETTER REPRESENTITIVES IN GOVERNMENT AND NOT THE FOOLS WHO PROMISE FREE CELL PHONES FOR A VOTE.

You see the real problem very clearly David in MA. It’s not democrats, it’s not republicans. It’s the executive and legislative branches and looking more and more the judicial who seems to now be re-writing the cases before them to meet a predispositioned conclusion. I’m more than a little disappointed in Chief Justice Roberts and his decision on ObamaCare. Some are saying that he didn’t do the president any favors by determining that the cost is a tax. Taxes only mean something to someone that has any income to tax and that’s dropping like a helicopter without a rotor. The citizenship isn’t going to get any relief until more than 60% get off their dead butts and drag themselves away from the latest reality TV show and vote. And I might say vote in an honest election which is already being fixed by this administration. Someone earlier mentioned the Tree of Liberty. I hope that it never comes to that, but if it does I pray the generals remember that their oath is to the constitution and not the president.

The biggest problem is with the Supreme Court right now. They have gone from constitutional law to case law. There is a world of difference between the two and it is time we made them go back to constitutional law. That is written in stone and shyster lawyers can’t argue their way past the law with loop holes and all the other tricks they pull. They also need to quite redefining the meaning of words so they can change what an amendment means. They are making them up as they go along.

The obamacare tax DOES mean something to someone that has no income. It is a head tax, not an income tax. You are expected to fork over the money or fork over proof that you spent the money elsewhere.

This is the first thread I have found on the entire internet which even mentions the theft by congress of the Social Security fund. Do you realize that the amount is over $5Trillion? And unfortunately, the blowholes who committed this theft are either dead or no longer in Congress. The theft continues, but the majority of said theft occurred a long time ago (from the Johnson to the Clinton eras) and I cannot imagine any current or future congress redressing the situation, since it doesn’t affect their ‘retirement’. While we are trying to clean out the thieves, perhaps we should revisit the policies which pay these thieves and their wives for the rest of their miserable lives at our expense.

I take offense every time I hear or read that Social Security is a “Entitlement!” No Social Security is not and never has been a entitlement in the very sense that this corrupt, steals for itself ‘Entitlements’!
Social Security is a owed retirement, bought and paid for by the taxpayer, fund!

Congress would love to reclassify this fund as a entitlement so it can revoke it, because this congress has absolutely no intention of ever paying back one thin dime of the millions upon millions, not to mention the lost millions of dollars interest, it stole from the fund under the guise of loans!
Congress believes that if they can convince the taxpayers, [who have paid into this fund for some 85 years, since it was first implemented august 14, 1935], the taxes collected for and paid into this fund, for the purpose of retirement, originally intended [only for those who paid into it], since January 1937! that it is a entitlement and that as such they believe they can discontinue it and relieve themselves of this owed debt! Which by-the-way, you can bet is not calculated anywhere in that “National Debt of almost 17 trillion Dollars. By the time january 23rd rolls around, that’s inauguration day, you can bet that National debt will be at least 17 Trillion!

I don’t know what a ‘Entitlement’ is and I don’t know anyone in government who has earned or deserves any such thing, save for our wounded heros returning home, having left body parts all over numerous battle fields around the globe!

Contrary to Harry Reid’s opinion “Social Security is just another tax that congress alone has the authority, and will decide how it is spent!” That fund was created with a specific purpose in mind! Harry ****** Reid is among those who would love to reclassify this fund so he and his lying thieving cohorts can wipe the slate clean of the debt he and they owe America and this fund!

An entitlement usmc1 is what the government gets when you signed that check over to them payable for up to and including your life. They are entitled to your life and limb for whatever reason they come up with. I signed the same check as I’m sure many in here did so I could go play Army cannon cocker in Southeast Asia.

The fact that when Social Security was first introduced it was voluntary, and now it is mandatory should tell anyone that this program is nothing more than a government slush fund. Social Security taxes are over 14% of your income. If you are self-employed, you are forced to pay the entire amount. If you work for an employer, you are forced to pay half and your employer is forced to pay half. We are so buried in this issue there is no solution except putting enough people back to work that there would be sufficient revenue to kept the program from going bankrupt.

So it makes so sense for Obama to persuade Congress to reduce the employee’s portion of the tax by 2% and then insist on the reduction being renewed for another year. With the highest unemployment in history and the lowest revenue in recent decades, Obama did that to buy a few votes from the “working people” who don’t even realize that it will negatively affect their own benefits when they retire.

I know that social security was never intended to be a retirement fund but rather as an addition to one. It really doesn’t make any difference what it was or wasn’t intended for; the money has been and still is being stolen from us (see ObamaCare and the billions he took from social security to fund his socialist program).
Our government has devolved in to one that sees their job is to take “their money” back from the wage earners and use it to pay for votes to keep them in their “jobs” and to pay for the unbelievable perks of their so called job after only one term. And now that about 50% of the population is looking for the government to take care of them regardless of their contribution to the fund much less the country and 40% won’t take the time to vote, there’s very little chance that anything is going to change because “we the people” have no say so in what the federal government is doing.

While the folks in my age group (70′s to 80′s) were loving our country, fighting and some giving their life) it was apple pie and ice cream…morals and filled churches, shaved faces and self pride. Many things have changed since then.
Verbal agreements were as valuable as a signed contract. You could take a mans promise and a hand shake. The family doctor was in most part responsible for your life. Medical Specialists were just starting to be a reality. If a man was too lazy to work he could starve to death. No murdering unborn babies and no pre-marital sex. Getting pregnant before marriage was a disgrace. Congress was in the news very little. There was very little news on radio or TV, but most in the newspaper. When we became so physically a mess as I am now we had no desire to be a burden on others. Back then we lacked a lot of treatments to sustain life but those treatments now days cost money. We don’t enjoy being a burden or costing money to survive but it would be stupid to say we want our plug pulled. What do we do ? Social Security was a wonderful idea and still is but congress found access to it and stole it’s contents with no shame. Sorry, I just had to say these things. So little shame in congress.

I’m going to have to agree with you about life back in the 50′s and before. I can remember the news back then and we seldom heard about what congress is doing to us now or how the president is taking this country apart and selling us down the stream to the socialist and killing babies like they are nothing more then bugs on a window.

Starting with the 60′s things started to change and I can say that that change was not for the better. I lived through that change and I can say that I really liked things before all that change. Sure some of the changes were for the better, but a lot of them made this country into something I do not recognize anymore.

We didn’t murder our babies just because we didn’t want a new baby just now or they were the wrong sex. Can you believe that most babies are killed because the family wants a boy first and she is pregnant with a girl? Is that insane or what? Abortion is bad enough, but late term is out right murder by a doctor that just likes to kill babies. Even the doctors that are forced to kill babies during their training learn real fast to hate it and leave that to someone else. To abort a baby is nothing short of murder. Short of saving the life of the mother, or rape, I can’t see any reason to abort a baby.

Free sex sounds great to the young since they are raging in the hormone department and I can understand that, but it is not something you do with just any girl and any time you feel like it. It should be something between you and your wife, not every girl that wants to sleep around with all the boys. I have seen parents that let their 14 year old daughters have a boy over for sex in their house and they condone it. Now that is sad.

I hate to say this, but I am glad I am not going to be around much longer. I hate where my country is going and I have loved it all my life. I gave 20 years of my life in the military only to see it become this and I don’t like it. Obama should have been tried and impeached and then tried for treason, but they have done nothing. He gave a false birth certificate and knew it was false before he sent it out. Not one person in Congress has called him on it and he is running again and STILL has not come out with a true birth certificate and STILL no one cares.

Now I don’t know where my country is going and it is up to the younger generation to make the course change to get it where they want it, if in fact they want change. You don’t know how good it was because you were not around for it, but the older generation can tell you all about it IF you will listen. If you want a country where you are free and don’t have the government constantly on your back and shyster lawyers are not taking everyone to court, then you have to start working on it. Sure we had our problems, but noting like we have now and life was a whole lot better.

So, if you want a good America then you have to work at it, it is not given to you and it is not free, but it is so worth the effort. If you let Obama in again, then look forward to maybe NEVER seeing your freedoms again. I will tell you one thing. You are not just electing Obama to the White House again, but a bunch of people that are behind him. He is only their mouth piece, but they are running this country. From what I have seen of Obama, he is an idiot and can’t form a coherent sentence without his teleprompter and he is not giving a speech he wrote, he is giving a speech someone else wrote because he cannot write a speech, let alone a book. This man is a total fraud and needs to be in jail right along with a few others in that government and until you clean them out, you are not going to be free. These people will see to that…………….

So, this is your last chance and you better get it right. These people hate America and are going to do everything they can to tear it down. If you let them, then you deserve what you get. This is probably your last chance short of an armed uprising to stop them and an armed uprising is the last thing I want to see. It will tear this country apart just like it did before and will take a lot of years to make up for it. Pay attention people, because your time is now…………..
