Kincaid: Romney Urged to Address Muslim Brotherhood Infiltration

By Cliff Kincaid

It is a subject that Mitt Romney and Barack Obama don’t want to talk about. But former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy on Wednesday offered a virtual indictment of top State Department official Huma Abedin as a security risk and said that Obama’s embrace of the anti-American Muslim Brotherhood constitutes a national security crisis and should be a major campaign issue.

McCarthy, who prosecuted the perpetrators of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, said it’s “vitally important” that Romney speak out publicly in support of the five members of Congress asking questions about Muslim Brotherhood influence over U.S. policy. He said Romney should “stand up and be counted.”

Romney recently said that questions about Abedin, deputy chief of staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and the Muslim Brotherhood, were not part of his campaign.

In addition to prosecuting terrorists, McCarthy wrote a book, The Grand Jihad, the title of which is taken from a Muslim Brotherhood document obtained by the FBI and which identifies front groups and collaborators in the U.S.

At a packed news conference with six television cameras and journalists overflowing into the hallway, Center for Security Policy president Frank Gaffney introduced McCarthy and released a ream of documents on Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the U.S. Government.

The conference was carried by the C-SPAN television network and is available for viewing.

McCarthy said he was “baffled” by how Abedin ever got into her position, noting that, if she had truthfully filled out Standard Form 86 for federal employment and a national security clearance, this would have disclosed that she (1) worked at an institute founded by a wealthy influential Saudi “intimately involved in the financing of terrorism” and (2) the Saudi started a “charity” which has been designated as a terrorist organization that financed al-Qaeda.

McCarthy’s presentation was a lengthy examination of Abedin’s involvement with and family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

AIM has raised some of the same concerns, noting that, if the media were truly interested in getting to the bottom of the controversy over Abedin, they could demand access to Abedin’s Standard Form 86, “which she was supposed to fill out before getting her State Department job.”

But it’s not clear that she did fill out that form, which is 127 pages in length and should have disclosed her Muslim Brotherhood connections.

McCarthy said he was alarmed that only five members of the House—Reps. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), Tom Rooney (R-Fla.), Lynn Westmoreland (R-Ga.) and Louie Gohmert (R-Texas)—have asked for inquiries into how Abedin and others got their security clearances at a time when U.S. foreign policy under Obama has shifted radically in favor of “avowed enemies of the United States.”

Material released by Gaffney’s organization included a letter signed by conservative leaders to Republican House Speaker John Boehner asking him to stand by Rep. Bachmann and the others, rather than criticizing them. Boehner has said that Bachmann’s “accusations” were “dangerous.”

“Rep. Bachmann and her colleagues accused Ms. Abedin of nothing,” the conservative leaders said. “Rather, questions about her family’s extensive and long-time affiliations with the Muslim Brotherhood were asked by Rep. Bachmann and her colleagues.”

The conservatives asked if the State Department “followed its own security clearance standards regarding Ms. Abedin, given her familial relations with people in the Muslim Brotherhood.”

Another handout listed the following examples of the Obama Administration aligning itself with the Muslim Brotherhood:

  • 2009: President Obama apologizes for U.S. policy in “Muslim outreach” speech.
  • In Cairo, Obama insists Brotherhood representatives be in the audience.
  • 2009: U.S. co-sponsors Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) resolution at the U.N. threatening freedom of expression
  • 2010: Tariq Ramadan is given U.S. visa
  • 2010: Obama administration officials begin “engaging” with Brotherhood officials.
  • 2011: President Obama calls for resignation of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, an opponent of the Muslim Brotherhood.
  • 2011: Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper describes the Brotherhood as “largely secular” and lacking “an over-arching agenda, at least internationally.”
  • 2011: The U.S. trains Muslim Brotherhood operatives about how to win elections.
  • 2011: Obama demands Israel return to “1967 borders.”
  • 2011: The Justice Department declines to prosecute Holy Land Foundation unindicted co-conspirators for material support for terrorism.
  • 2011: The U.S. begins formal relations with the Muslim Brotherhood.
  • 2012: The U.S. transfers $1.5 billion to the Egyptian government after the Islamist-dominated parliament is installed, on eve of the election of a Muslim Brotherhood president.
  • 2012: Muslim Brotherhood figure Mohamed Morsi wins the Egyptian presidency and announces he will seek to impose Sharia, or Islamic, law and demands the release of the Blind Sheikh, the organizer of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Morsi is invited to the White House.
  • 2012: Terrorist Hani Noor Eldin is given a visa to pursue the Blind Sheikh’s release.
  • DHS Secretary Napolitano says more such visas will be granted.

But while the Obama Administration has taken the brunt of the criticism, one of Romney’s foreign policy advisers, Robert Kagan, has been labeled a useful idiot or stooge for the Muslim Brotherhood. Kagan is a member of Romney’s foreign policy team and works at the liberal Brookings Institution.

At the time that the rule of U.S. ally Hosni Mubarak was under assault from street protests led by the Muslim Brotherhood, Kagan wrote a column for The Washington Post threatening the Egyptian government if it successfully repressed the revolutionary turmoil.

During an appearance on CNN, Kagan attacked Glenn Beck, then with Fox News, for predicting that a Muslim takeover of Egypt could lead to an expansion of Islamist power in the Middle East and elsewhere. Kagan called it “panic-mongering of the worst kind,” adding, “It’s not the first time in American history that kind of panic mongering has played well on TV or in the press…I think we need to be intelligent about how we move forward. Not be guided by panic about some global Islamic takeover. And, in fact, that kind of panic leads to the worst kind of policies.”

Rep. Bachmann et al are correct in raising the questions. If there is nothing to hide, no connection, then sharing the forms and information will be of no consequence. The fact that all is so secretive and so many are trying to avoid showing the truth leads one to believe that there is indeed a problem and a deep and potentially dangerous connection between the Muslim Brotherhood and Ms. Abedin.

They’re much too busy Campaigning to have to deal with pertinent issues especially those of National Security! Obam has apologized to them and embraced the so the rest should work itself out and we can live happily ever after, right? Not.

I’m hoping Romney is saving the ad blood bath until after the convention. If he runs another Dole or McCain type campaign, where he attempts to stay on the “high” road, he will lose. Not that it will matter, if that happens I will be gone from the GOP, there will be other parties emerging that might want to take on the dirt bag dims.
Mitt, if you’re not going to fight, why did you go for the nomination? Did you think the Kenyan squatter was going to be nice? We are infested with Muzlims, commies, traitors of every color, and DC needs a good scrubbing. Either get with it, or GET OUT OF THE WAY!

Sununu says that Romney is running on Primary Funds (of which they’re apparently low of) and not General Election funds (which will be equal to O’s) and that Romney will step it up once the General Campaign starts. I say Mitt opening your mouth is free why do we hear more about how Mitt and Barrack are alike then how Romney will fix what’s broken. And I agree with the latest talking points – the retort ‘Obamaloney’ is really lame.

Sheriff Arpio and his Posse investigating obama came to the conclusion that there was a “National Security Threat” based on evidence they uncovered. But who do you give the Evidence to when the National Security Threat IS the President and the head of the DOJ Eric Holder. They WILL NOT investigate themselves. It’s up to the Voters now! The Evidence AGAINST obama and his administration is OVERWHELMING and yet NOTHING is being done. We are now a Third World Country under obamas’ Ruling Junta. The Suprem Court, democrat Party, Mass Media, Hollywood and Public Schools have all been converted to Communism. Even with that they are still a Minority. The Medicine to rid us of these Parasites will make us very sick.

Benjamin Netanyahu had to take President Obama to school on who and what the Muslim Brotherhood was and what their mission has been since 1928. This was after he allowed Bibi to use the front door of the White House. It appears that our State Department is also ignorant as to their mission. The Secretary of State has jetted in, with our tax-dollars, four times, (by my last count) to the heart of their birth place; Egypt, with bags of our money as a gift. Each time she leaves she flies right over Israel with not even a short stop for a snack or lunch. I am not an “expert” on this at all. However, in 1971 I told the then Under-Secretary of State for our Asian Desk that there was going to be a major revolution in Iran that would not only change that country but would change the face of “Islam” as we knew today. Well, lo and behold…Ask Jimmy Carter how it worked out. This time, if they want my advise, it will cost. I would like money given to a charity of my choice; one that saves American children for example.

The Ottoman Empire is worth another look in case you were absent from school that day. How Tommy Jefferson dealt with the Barbary pirates is worth another gander; especially what he and Adams were told by their ambassador.
I recently read an hypothesis that some author tossed out for the consideration of the American public. It was something like: “would there have been slave trade in the new world had the Muslims not shut down The Silk Road?”

Just to put things in perspective, there are officially 1.6 billion muslims in the world and 50 + countries that identify as islamic countries. It is about 23 percent of the world’s population. It seems ridiculous to me that a negative persception is being created against such a large potion of the world based on the actiona of a small group. Also isn`t such discrimination and creating a hostile environment based on religion entirely against the spirit of the American constitutaion. Also, what really is the allegation against Huma Abedin? Since when is it a crime to have worked in a legitimate institution run by someone who was later found to also fund an illegal group?

“It seems ridiculous to me that a negative persception is being created against such a large potion of the world based on the actiona of a small group.”

What seems ridiculous to me is that these 1.6 billion Muslims you mention won’t stand up and take care of the “small group” who are causing havoc across the globe. Maybe the number is not as “few” as you want us to think. But if you don’t understand how much turmoil can be caused by a few fanatics, take a look at the WTC and 9/11, which was caused by less than 20 rabid Muslims.

“Also, what really is the allegation against Huma Abedin?”

Did you read the article? It is very important to determine HOW she received the top-level security clearance in order to hold the government job she has, knowing her associations with avowed enemies of this nation. Obviously you didn’t read the article because the allegations against her are “a lengthy examination of Abedin’s involvement with and family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.” (You are known by the company you keep)

“Also isn`t such discrimination and creating a hostile environment based on religion entirely against the spirit of the American constitution?”

Hell NO, because your religion is the one guilty of creating a “hostile environment”, and it has NOTHING to do with religion, even though that is exactly what you Muslims want us to believe. Freedom of religion under the U.S. Constitution does not give any religion the right to attack us and justify their attacks by claiming we are “discriminating” against them. If you want to live in a Muslim country, what are you doing in the U.S.? We are NOT a Muslim nation and we will fight to the death to keep from becoming one. When the fight starts I think you will see that WE are not such a small group, regardless of how many of our government officials join with you.

Islam earned the violent reputation it has. Just look up the ‘The Islamic Crusades’. Read the timeline. See why there was even a European Crusade in the first place. (after 600 years of Islamic Crusading and world conquering)

      It was said
It is only natural that the Quran would be filled with references to jihad and qital, the latter word meaning only fighting, killing, warring, and slaughtering. Textual reality matches historical reality in the time of Muhammad. And after.

Rebecca Bynum has released her new book titled Allah is Dead, where she argues why Islam is not a religion. Her concern is that by classifying Islam as a religion and giving it the tax exempt status, we are unwittingly supporting a belief system that aims to destroy us.

Bynum says it is much closer to ideologies such as material determinism, nihilism and even social Darwinism than it is to either Christianity or Judaism. In fact there are many similarities between Islam and Nazism and Marxism. All these three ideologies are totalitarian and believe ends justify the means.

It is just like saying 20 rabid men caused havoc so all Men should be responsible (gender) or 20 rabid Asians caused havoc so all Asians should be responsible (ethnicity).
20 men or 100 Asians or 1000 muslims whatever the number/religion/gender/ethnicity is, they are themselves responsible for their actions and should be caught tried and punished. All men or all asians or all muslims are not responsible for their actions. It is as simple as that.

You can’t dismiss the Terror from Islam by saying a few words. We all can read and see and understand they still want to dominate the world especially with force. For Heaven’s sake it’s written into the Koran. The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule another 164 calling for Jihad.

      List of Islamic Terror Attacks
from the first part of 2012

( – Sunni Muslim terrorists committed “about 70 percent” of the 12,533 terrorist murders in the world last year, according to a report by the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC).

The information comes from the 2011 NCTC Report on Terrorism, which is based on information available as of March 12, 2012.

Still think Islam is just another religion? Not I. It’s as simple as that!

I looked at the list of attacks and guess what, most of them are targeted towards local population of muslim countries..hence they are terror attacks mostly killing local muslims…This type of terror is a recent advent and not a historic thing. A lot of these groups were gathered from all over the world, armed and trained by CIA to fight against USSR. It was a CIA sponsored Jihad to defeat USSR. After the Afghan war many of these groups did not disperse but went back to their countries and continued armed resistance against their governments. A menace created by CIA that wreaked havoc across the globe. They have killed more muslims in their attacks than non-muslims.

About the verses on jihad, see this link:

Yeah, that makes them peaceful like mrmuslim, good argument. Not.

      The Timeline

630 Two years before Muhammad’s death of a fever, he launches the Tabuk Crusades, in which he led 30,000 jihadists against the Byzantine Christians. He had heard a report that a huge army had amassed to attack Arabia, but the report turned out to be a false rumor. The Byzantine army never materialized. He turned around and went home, but not before extracting ‘agreements’ from northern tribes. They could enjoy the ‘privilege’ of living under Islamic ‘protection’ (read: not be attacked by Islam), if they paid a tax (jizya).

This tax sets the stage for Muhammad’s and the later Caliphs’ policies. If the attacked city or region did not want to convert to Islam, then they paid a jizya tax. If they converted, then they paid a zakat tax. Either way, money flowed back to the Islamic treasury in Arabia or to the local Muslim governor.

632—634 Under the Caliphate of Abu Bakr the Muslim Crusaders reconquer and sometimes conquer for the first time the polytheists of Arabia. These Arab polytheists had to convert to Islam or die. They did not have the choice of remaining in their faith and paying a tax. Islam does not allow for religious freedom.

633 The Muslim Crusaders, led by Khalid al—Walid, a superior but bloodthirsty military commander, whom Muhammad nicknamed the Sword of Allah for his ferocity in battle (Tabari, 8:158 / 1616—17), conquer the city of Ullays along the Euphrates River (in today’s Iraq). Khalid captures and beheads so many that a nearby canal, into which the blood flowed, was called Blood Canal (Tabari 11:24 / 2034—35).

634 At the Battle of Yarmuk in Syria the Muslim Crusaders defeat the Byzantines. Today Osama bin Laden draws inspiration from the defeat, and especially from an anecdote about Khalid al—Walid. An unnamed Muslim remarks: ‘The Romans are so numerous and the Muslims so few.’ To this Khalid retorts: ‘How few are the Romans, and how many the Muslims! Armies become numerous only with victory and few only with defeat, not by the number of men. By God, I would love it . . . if the enemy were twice as many’ (Tabari, 11:94 / 2095). Osama bin Ladin quotes Khalid and says that his fighters love death more than we in the West love life. This philosophy of death probably comes from a verse like Sura 2:96. Muhammad assesses the Jews: ‘[Prophet], you are sure to find them [the Jews] clinging to life more eagerly than any other people, even polytheists’ (MAS Abdel Haleem, The Qur’an, Oxford UP, 2004; first insertion in brackets is Haleem’s; the second mine).

634—644 The Caliphate of Umar ibn al—Khattab, who is regarded as particularly brutal.

635 Muslim Crusaders besiege and conquer of Damascus

636 Muslim Crusaders defeat Byzantines decisively at Battle of Yarmuk.

637 Muslim Crusaders conquer Iraq at the Battle of al—Qadisiyyah (some date it in 635 or 636)

638 Muslim Crusaders conquer and annex Jerusalem, taking it from the Byzantines.

638—650 Muslim Crusaders conquer Iran, except along Caspian Sea.

      639—642 Muslim Crusaders conquer Egypt.

641 Muslim Crusaders control Syria and Palestine.

643—707 Muslim Crusaders conquer North Africa.

644 Caliph Umar is assassinated by a Persian prisoner of war; Uthman ibn Affan is elected third Caliph, who is regarded by many Muslims as gentler than Umar.

644—650 Muslim Crusaders conquer Cyprus, Tripoli in North Africa, and establish Islamic rule in Iran, Afghanistan, and Sind.

656 Caliph Uthman is assassinated by disgruntled Muslim soldiers; Ali ibn Abi Talib, son—in—law and cousin to Muhammad, who married the prophet’s daughter Fatima through his first wife Khadija, is set up as Caliph.

656 Battle of the Camel, in which Aisha, Muhammad’s wife, leads a rebellion against Ali for not avenging Uthman’s assassination. Ali’s partisans win.

657 Battle of Siffin between Ali and Muslim governor of Jerusalem, arbitration goes against Ali

661 Murder of Ali by an extremist; Ali’s supporters acclaim his son Hasan as next Caliph, but he comes to an agreement with Muawiyyah I and retires to Medina.

661—680 the Caliphate of Muawiyyah I. He founds Umayyid dynasty and moves capital from Medina to Damascus

673—678 Arabs besiege Constantinople, capital of Byzantine Empire

680 Massacre of Hussein (Muhammad’s grandson), his family, and his supporters in Karbala, Iraq.

691 Dome of the Rock is completed in Jerusalem, only six decades after Muhammad’s death.

705 Abd al—Malik restores Umayyad rule.

710—713 Muslim Crusaders conquer the lower Indus Valley.

Egypt: Muslims Thrash Christian for Drinking Water on Ramadan
      Posted on August 9, 2012

According to Coptic websites, on July 27, a diabetic man in Egypt was driving his car in Maadi, a suburb of southern Cairo, when he was struck with great thirst, “which he could not bear” (a side-effect of diabetes, further exacerbated by Egypt’s July weather). He pulled over by a public water source and started to drink water. Soon three passer-bys approached him, inquiring why he was drinking water (among the many things forbidden to Muslims during daylight in Ramadan). The diabetic man replied, “Because I am a Christian, and sick,” to which they exclaimed “you’re a Christian, too!” and begun beating and striking him on the face mercilessly. Other passer-bys began to congregate to see what was happening, but no one intervened on behalf of the diabetic Christian, until he managed to dash to his parked car and flee the scene.
Nigeria: Bomb found at second church days after Muslims murdered 19 Christians during Sunday worship

Will the Islamophobia never end? “Bomb found in Kogi,” from Business Day, August 8 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

An unexploded bomb was found at the Revival Church in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi state.

This development comes a day after the attack on the Deeper Life Church in Okene in which 19 people died.

It is still unclear how many people were wounded in the attack Monday night as a number of the church members sustained various degrees of injuries.

According to the Military spokesman, Lt. Col. Gabriel Olorunyomi, the gunmen surrounded the church in the middle of a worship service and opened fire with AK-47 assault rifles on the worshippers….

Genocidal jihadist Sudanese warlord to be appointed to UN Human Rights Council

He has been waging jihad against the Christians of South Sudan and the non-Arab Muslims of Darfur, but he has the support of the Arab League and OIC, so he is just fine by the UN.

“Genocidal Sudanese regime’s appointment to UN human rights council all but certain, watchdog says,” by Joshua Rhett Miller for, August 8

The election of a Sudanese warlord accused of genocide to the United Nations Human Rights Council is now virtually guaranteed, since he has the full backing of the world body’s African delegation.

The International Criminal Court has issued a warrant for Omar Al-Bashir — its first ever for a sitting head of state — for crimes against humanity he allegedly committed in Darfur. Yet, his regime is set to take its place on the panel, in the latest bizarre appointment to make a mockery of the UN’s human rights credibility, according to critics.

It’s like putting “Jack the Ripper in charge of a women’s shelter,” said Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch.

Neuer’s Geneva-based group is calling on UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay to denounce election of the war-torn North African nation to the 47-member body. Sudan is not technically on the panel, but its election is a certainty because only five African nations are vying for the continent’s five seats. …

Our Government & the Muslim Brotherhood
      by ANDREW C. MCCARTHY August 10, 2012

I was invited by the Center for Security Policy to give a speech at the National Press Club in Washington yesterday. The topic was our government’s relations with the Muslim Brotherhood and why concerns about Brotherhood infiltration, raised by five conservative House members, are very real. The speech ran nearly an hour, and there was a little over a half-hour of Q&A afterwards. The event was carried by CSPAN, and for those interested, the link is here. Below is the prepared text of my speech:

“ 20 rabid individuals caused havoc…why classify them as muslims (religion)?”

I didn’t classify them as Muslims–they did that themselves. When they run around yelling “Allah Akbar” and talking about “jihad”, I don’t think they should be classified as Methodists.

I am not buying your argument that Islam is ONLY a religion because you know that isn’t true. Islam is a theocratic form of government that uses religion as an excuse for terrorism aimed at world domination. So try to sell your BS to someone else because I won’t accept it, and you have been sold on a lie IF you are a Muslim. Yes, it is a religion but any religion that attacks and destroys innocent people in acts of terrorism as a means of control is a false religion.

Thank you for the history lesson. Here is some more:

The nomadic Arabs, who rose from their desert tents, founded in remarkably short space of time, the mightiest empire of the Mediaeval era, which stretched from the shores of the Atlantic in the West to the Great Wall of China in the East. Their success in the field of territorial conquests was no more spectacular than their achievements in the realm of knowledge.

In fact they brought about the greatest revolution in the history of mankind-a revolution which embraced all aspectsof human activity. The memorable words of the Holy Prophet of Islam, “Go in quest of knowledge even unto the distant China”, awakened a spirit of enquiry among the Arabs which, hitherto lay dormant in them, The Muslims, who were the pioneers in all branches of knowledge during the Mediaeval times provided the necessary link between the ancient and modern civilizations. The light of knowledge which illuminated the lands of Moors in Spain and Sicily, was greatly instrumental in dispelling the gloom of ignorance that had enveloped the Mediaeval Europe. “It was under the influence of Arabian and Moorish revival of culture”, writes Robert Briffault in his well-known work The Making of Humanity, “and not in the 15th century, that the real renaissance took place. Spain and not Italy, was the cradle of the rebirth of Europe. After sinking lower and lower in barbarism, it had reached the darkest depths of ignorance and degradation when the cities of the Saracenic world Baghdad, Cairo, Cordova, Toledo, were growing centres of civilization and intellectual activity. It was there that the new life arose which was to grow into a new phase of human evolution. From the time when the influence of their culture made itself felt, began the stirring of a new life”. Another great orientalist Philip K. Hitti, acknowledges the greatness of Arab culture when he writes in his History of the Arabs “Moslem Spain wrote one of the brightest Chapters in the intellectual history of mediaeval Europe. Between the middle of the 8th and the beginning of the 13th centuries, as we have noted before, the Arab speaking peoples were the main bearers of the torch of culture and civilization throughout the world. Moreover they were the medium through which ancient science and philosophy were recovered, supplemented and transmittedin such a way as to make possible the renaissance of western Europe. In all this Arabic Spain had a large share”.?

The translated works of Arab scientists in botany, zoology, physics and alchemy were taught in European universities specially those of Northern Italy and France. Jews, after Muslims, were the great exponents of Arab learning and founded schools along Spanish lines at Bari, Salerno, Tarentum and other places. Bartholo Ceuse had named 4,000 Jewish scholars scattered all over southern and western Europe who had imbibed Arab civilization and culture and were well versed in Arabian learning. According to the Right Honourable Lecky, the author of Rationalism in Europe, “Jewish learning and Jewish genius contributed very largely to that bright, but transienf civilization which radiated from Toledo and Cordova and exercised so salutary an influence upon the belief of Europe”. The educated Jews, whose medium of education in Spain was Arabic, took a leading part in the translation of Arabic works into Hebrew and other European languages. The Jewish teachers disseminated Arabian medicine and other sciences in the medical schools of Salerno and other European countries.

The Jews who enjoyed complete tolerance in Muslim Spain took a lively interest in the development and popularisation of Arabian learning both during and after the Moorish regime. They were scattered all over Europe after the Ahmohadeen conquest and became the ambassadors of Arabian culture wherever they went. French and German monks including Hildegard and Hrosvitha, the literary nuns of the Thuringian convent, learnt Arabian sciences from them. The wandering Jews founded numerous schools such as those of Kimhic and Ben Esra of Norbonne, where the diffusion ofGrabian learning was carried on through translation and teaching. A large number of these Jews accompanied William of Normandy to England where they established the first English school of science at Oxford, in which Arabian sciences were freely taught. It was in this school that Roger Bacon learnt Arabic sciences from Jewish teachers.

Well here’s more then. Even Hitler had advanced science. You’ve proven nothing. Terrorism and death to civilians and children is of Satan and Muhammed.

It seems to me, when commentary about religion occurs on these forums it is mostly about Christianity. There has been very little critical analysis of Islam. As a religion with over 1, 5 billion subscribers, most of what I read about it is sorely lacking. In the interests of fairness and the understanding of Islam — and its impact on the world — here is a very brief primer on the basics of Islam, its founders, its history, its documents and its politics.

Islam is a set of instructions for the propagation an aggressively expansionistic theocracy. It is founded on a collection of dictations spoken by a warrior-priest named Abu al-Qasim Muhammed ibn Abd Allah ibn Abd al-Mutalib ibn Hashim — more commonly known as Muhammed.

Muhammed was an illiterate seventh century trader who, at the age of forty, changed careers to become a prophet and later a warlord. By claiming these verses were allegedly revealed to him by a supernatural agency, Muhammed declared he was authorized to start his new religious career and this is what he did.

About twenty years after his death these proclamations were assembled from numerous sources, some written down but most often from memorized oral stories, into a single gospel called the Koran. Koran means recitation.

So glad you’re happy with it but it’s not compatible with a Freedom loving Republic. We don’t believe in Moon Gods.

I am glad to see that this discussion has not seen any flaming and has remained an objective exchange of ideas. I enjoy such intellectual exchanges since it increases understanding. I will stop responding when it ceases to be that.

Your comment about Moon God prompted me to search for the term since it was new to me (and I am a muslim) and here is what I found on wikipedia. It seems to me that due to some reason a lot of misconception exists around Islam and muslims in some quarters that is based on factually incorrect assumptions.
Allah as Moon-God is a claim put forth by some Evangelical Christian groups that the Islamic name for God, Allah, derives from a pagan Moon god in local Arabic mythology. Both Islamic and Western scholars have rejected these claims,[5] some even calling them “insulting”.[6] It is argued that “Allah” is simply the word for “God” in Arabic, which ultimately derives from the same root as the Hebrew words “El” and “Elohim”, both used in the Book of Genesis.

I read some time ago that the word “Islam” actually translates out in English as “Peace”. True?, false?, don’t know. If that’s true then the religion of islam is by definition the religion of peace. That doesn’t mean they are peaceful, that’s just it’s name.

Caesar Farah in his book on Islam concludes his discussion of the pre-Islamic meaning of Allah by saying:

“There is no reason, therefore, to accept the idea that Allah passed to the Muslims from the Christians and Jews” (Islam: Beliefs and Observations, New York, Barrons, 1987, p. 28).

According to Middle East scholar E.M. Wherry, whose translation of the Quran is still used today, in pre-Islamic times Allah-worship, as well as the worship of Ba-al, were both astral religions in that they involved the worship of the sun, the moon, and the stars (A Comprehensive Commentary on the Quran, Osnabruck: Otto Zeller Verlag, 1973, p. 36).

Moon worship has been practiced in Arabia since 2000 BC. The crescent moon is the most common symbol of this pagan moon worship as far back as 2000 BC.
In Mecca, there was a god named Hubal who was Lord of the Kabah.
This Hubal was a moon god.
One Muslim apologist confessed that the idol of moon god Hubal was placed upon the roof of the Kaba about 400 years before Muhammad. This may in fact be the origin of why the crescent moon is on top of every minaret at the Kaba today and the central symbol of Islam atop of every mosque throughout the world:

About four hundred years before the birth of Muhammad one Amr bin Lahyo … a descendant of Qahtan and king of Hijaz, had put an idol called Hubal on the roof of the Kaba. This was one of the chief deities of the Quraish before Islam. (Muhammad The Holy Prophet, Hafiz Ghulam Sarwar (Pakistan), p 18-19, Muslim)

The moon god was also referred to as “al-ilah”. This is not a proper name of a single specific god, but a generic reference meaning “the god”. Each local pagan Arab tribe would refer to their own local tribal pagan god as “al-ilah”.
“al-ilah” was later shortened to Allah before Muhammad began promoting his new religion in 610 AD.
There is evidence that Hubal was referred to as “Allah”.
When Muhammad came along, he dropped all references to the name “Hubal” but retained the generic “Allah”.
Muhammad retained almost all the pagan rituals of the Arabs at the Kaba and redefined them in monotheistic terms.
Regardless of the specifics of the facts, it is clear that Islam is derived from paganism that once worshiped a moon-god.
Although Islam is today a monotheist religion, its roots are in paganism.

Historical evidences, impartial logic, well versed references and all available circumstantial judgments can very well prove that—(a) Allah name of deity was pre-existed much before the arrival of Islam, (b) Pre-Islamic Pagan peoples worshipped Allah as their supreme deity (moon-god). Allah’s name existed in pre-Islamic Arab. In ancient Arab the Allah was considered to be the supreme God/deity (as Moon-God) and Arab Pagans worshipped Allah before Islam arrived.

      Who is actually Allah?

According to Islamic Theologians (Mullahs, Maulana, Moulavis, etc.), or Islamic teachings– Allah is the supreme God or creator who (suddenly one day?) talked or introduced Himself with Prophet Muhammad through an Angel named Gabriel, disclosing the truth that it is the Allah who created everything in the universe. Surprisingly, Qur’an never defines the word “Allah” as to who actually Allah was or what was the relation of Allah with pagans. I believe, 99% percent of Muslims do believe that—Allah’s name was invented or started right from the time when Gabriel disclosed the truth (?) to Prophet Muhammad in the cave of Hira Parvat (Mountain) and gave Muhammad the Quran. They believe that before this truth was revealed—pagan Arabs were in the total darkness (Andhakar Zuug) and they used to worship various puppet goddess and that the pagans were very evil people. I can bet on this fact that no mullahs ever told us the real truth, neither they believe this clean truth that “Allah” was in fact a pre-existing deity in pagan Arabia.

      Origin of Islam:

1605–15; < Ar islām lit., submission (to God)

      Ten Obvious Reasons Why
Islam is NOT a Religion of Peace

#1 18,000 deadly terror attacks committed explicitly in the name of Islam in just the last ten years. (Other religions combined for perhaps a dozen or so).

#2 Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, had people killed for insulting him or for criticizing his religion. This included women. Muslims are told to emulate the example of Muhammad.

#3 Muhammad said in many places that he has been "ordered by Allah to fight men until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is his messenger." In the last nine years of his life, he ordered no less than 65 military campaigns to do exactly that.

Muhammad inspired his men to war with the basest of motives, using captured loot, sex and a gluttonous paradise as incentives. He beheaded captives, enslaved children and raped women captured in battle. Again, Muslims are told to emulate the example of Muhammad.

#4 After Muhammad died, the people who lived with him and knew his religion best immediately fell into war with each other.

Fatima, Muhammad's favorite daughter, survived the early years among the unbelievers at Mecca safe and sound, yet died of stress from the persecution of fellow Muslims only six months after her father died. She even miscarried Muhammad's grandchild after having her ribs broken by the man who became the second caliph.

Fatima's husband Ali, who was the second convert to Islam and was raised like a son to Muhammad, fought a civil war against an army raised by Aisha, Muhammad's favorite wife – and one whom he had said was a "perfect woman." 10,000 Muslims were killed in a single battle waged less than 25 years after Muhammad's death.

Three of the first four Muslim rulers (caliphs) were murdered. All of them were among Muhammad's closest companions. The third caliph was killed by allies of the son of the first (who was murdered by the fifth caliph a few years later, then wrapped in the skin of a dead donkey and burned). The fourth caliph (Ali) was stabbed to death after a bitter dispute with the fifth. The fifth caliph went on to poison one of Muhammad's two favorite grandsons. The other grandson was later beheaded by the sixth caliph.

The infighting and power struggles between Muhammad's family members, closest companions and their children only intensified with time. Within 50 short years of Muhammad's death, even the Kaaba, which had stood for centuries under pagan religion, lay in ruins from internal Muslim war…

And that's just the fate of those within the house of Islam!

#5 Muhammad directed Muslims to wage war on other religions and bring them under submission to Islam. Within the first few decades following his death, his Arabian companions invaded and conquered Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and Zoroastrian lands.

A mere 25 years after Muhammad's death, Muslim armies had captured land and people within the borders of over 28 modern countries outside of Saudi Arabia.

#6 Muslims continued their Jihad against other religions for 1400 years, checked only by the ability of non-Muslims to defend themselves. To this day, not a week goes by that Islamic fundamentalists do not attempt to kill Christians, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists explicitly in the name of Allah.

None of these other religions are at war with each other.

#7 Islam is the only religion that has to retain its membership by threatening to kill anyone who leaves. This is according to the example set by Muhammad.

#8 Islam teaches that non-Muslims are less than fully human. Muhammad said that Muslims can be put to death for murder, but that a Muslim could never be put to death for killing a non-Muslim.

#9 The Qur'an never once speaks of Allah's love for non-Muslims, but it speaks of Allah's cruelty toward and hatred of non-Muslims more than 500 times.

#10 "Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!"
(The last words from the cockpit of Flight 93)

More important is how Obama placed the Muslim Brotherhood inside of our Homeland Security and as advisor’s to the White House and Secretary of State. What gets me most is how soon after their inclusion into Homeland Security all of the CIA’s agents in the Middle East were named, hunted down and killed that alone should be enough for an investigation into Obama’s role of including them in our National system with out fully vetting them.

Putting Muslims into power in our Homeland Security, is akin to putting a mouse to guard the cheese from the mice.
Logic dictates that you just do not hire a enemy to protect you from your enemies.
There is way too much within this Administration which strikes a bad nerve, especially from a man who claims to be a Christian. Nobama is as much a Christian as a basketball is a tennis ball.
It seems with each passing day, he surrounds himself more and more with persons not in our best interest, and this is only the beginning. If he wins a second term. I cannot even begin to imagine what our Country will look like after 4 more years of this maniacal, arrogant, Marxist, Islamic, ruler wannab.
America will no longer even be recognizable, as we will likely have come under rule. Read all the pages of Obamacare, and just see for yourself what has been earmarked and snuck in between the pages. Suffice to say, that it is not all about health care I beg you to read it completely before you cast your vote in November, if you are even considering voting for O.
