Low-brow activity, dirty deeds done by daylight, these can only be the beginnings of the words needed to describe the strong-arm tactics of homosexual activists here in the state of Kansas. The gay advocacy group Flint Hills Human Rights Project, which has been on the losing end of a push to gay-ify the heartland, has decided to protest Christianity in a very direct fashion. As reported by Brad Dornes in the Manhattan Mercury, members of the organization recently staged a protest at the Manhattan Christian College on enrollment day. Students attempting to enroll in classes at the Christian college had to wade through gay activists carrying homosexual advocacy signs and others from the organization offering students informational paraphernalia on the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender lifestyles.
Ted Morgan, the co-chair for the Flint Hills Human Rights Project, said that the protest was simply to “raise awareness” for the LGBT community. This kind of hypocrisy is troublesome and depicts the true nature of the homosexual push here in Kansas and across the nation. If we wish to bring some honesty to the discussion, the entire city of Manhattan as well as the state of Kansas are well aware of the homosexual agenda, as the recent city election of conservative Tea Party candidates brought about the repeal of an anti-discrimination ordinance alteration that created one of the most liberal ordinances in the country. The ordinance alteration, with its arbitrary and capricious impact on traditional Kansans, was a product of the strong-arm tactics of homosexual advocacy groups here in the state. The gay community worked diligently to bypass citizens of Manhattan, Kansas, from having a voice in an ordinance alteration that would have an economic, social and cultural impact on the entire state.
In my interview on March 8, 2011, on the Conscience of Kansas radio program with Flint Hills Human Rights Project media representative Josh McGinn, I voiced my concern at his determination that Kansans outside the gay community should be left out of the decision-making process on how people should live in their own state. I made a prediction in that interview, which was proven true, that the bill alteration would be revoked. The basis for that prediction was based on my belief in two factors that encompass the overwhelming majority of the people of Kansas. First is that many of the people of the state, while very diverse, share a common belief in Judeo-Christian values. The anti-discrimination bill alteration was a personal affront to these values. Second is the simple fact that Kansans don’t like to be strong-armed, knocked about or pushed around. This is what the gay community was doing then and as recent facts show, this is what they are doing now.
Despite the “light and cheerful” spin given by organizational leaders, the protest at Manhattan Christian College was meant first and foremost as a strong-arm tactic against President Kevin Ingram and others within the college’s administration who stood with the majority of the community in championing Christian values on this issue. This is bad enough as these individuals should have the freedom to stand for their values without persecution, but to protest Manhattan Christian College and heap homosexual propaganda on incoming students takes legal protest and drags it to levels of inappropriateness found in organizations such as the Westboro Baptist Church. It doesn’t get much worse than that.
What we can see from the depths of such actions is an illumination of the truth in that some groups that claim victimhood are really ruthless bullies, and that some victories for conservative values are just battles won in a much more protracted war. What is certain, among the many uncertainties of this cultural war, is that those who refuse to get into the fray will find the gates of their communities crushed by marauders ranging from heathens to Hannibal. We can truly see that in this battle no quarter will be given, and no ground shall be treated as holy. If we are going to continue to keep Kansas a state of traditional Christian values we will have to continue to fight for it.

Yes, Matthew 24 being fulfilled before our eyes! These gays are absolutely disgusting forcing their perverted sexual orientation everywhere in this country. They are obviously getting more and more militant as time goes by, and they should not be permitted to harass these kids enrolling in a Christian school, or anywhere else for that matter.
Unbridled freedom is not what our Founding Father’s had in mind! All these liberals who have unleashed these barbarians at our door should be real proud of themselves at this point. Pandora’s Box is open and there isn’t anyone short of God that can close it again, and close it He will! I just hope the rest of us aren’t in the path of His retribution.

capricorn1, I hope you are wrong as I don’t want to believe God has abandoned us and all hope is lost.
One thing about this group that I people will start to open their eye’s and see that these are the most intolerant gays we have seen so far. They lie on every front of this issue. They say they are the ones being discriminated against when in truth they are the ones who discriminate. They way don’t believe in your “Freedom of Religion”, your “Freedom of Choice” or your Freedom of Speech. speek out against them and they will call every vile thing they can think of and most of them don’t evening know the meaning of the words they use. The only thing they know about these “buzz words” is that they mean something invoke reactions from others like them. Meanwhile the lamestream media encourages their actions.

OneWildman:
My Biblical approach to today’s problems are what I do for a living! And I can’t resist answering in Biblical terms.
God has left us to our own devices and has withdrawn blessing from this country because of our revolt against Him. This is clearly stated in Deut. 28, and in the book of Leviticus which enumerates the curses to befall us in detail — many of which we are suffering now. It’s hard to understand, I know, as I have trouble myself, but it is something that will and is happening now.
We will not be saved from the coming calamities which will culminate with the Antichrist – we will only be saved from the “Day of the Lord,” which will be God’s wrath upon the earth. Any believers who survive during the day of God’s vengenance will be saved, and those who have died during it eventually will live again.
Sorry, if I upset anyone, but it’s my job.

Mayor Bloomberg of New York has declared there will be no Religious participation in the 911, New York Twin Towers anniversary 10 year festivities. ,,,,,,,,,He has sealed the city’s fate. First earth quakes in Washington/East coast,,,,,here comes the hurricane. It is best not to mess with the Big Guy upstairs. I hope there are at least 10 righteous men in New York. Visiting Angels beware of the picketers. There may be more casualties than Picket’s charge at Gettysburg,,,, on their side.

Why does a homosexual advocacy group stage a protest at a Christian college in order to “raise awareness” for the LGBT community? Why do you take, not only an unconventional agenda, but one contrary to Christian principles, into a venue where you know beforehand that there is absolutely no sympathy or support for your cause?
The problem with proponents of alternative religions and lifestyles is that they have no tolerance for any other agenda but their own. Had the tables been reversed in the above scenario and it was a Christian group staging a protest at a gay rights rally to “raise awareness”, there would have been an uproar.

Why? Because it is hard for Gay Liberals to think or see clearly with head up orafice and mind in gutter. It is all part of the insanity of Liberalism, bought, paid for and validated by your latest freindly neighborhood gay Psychiatristic study, by Gay Psyciatrists on the government payroll.

The radical homosexual and abortion groups trying brainwashing (especially school children), vulgarity, bullying and even physical abuse to push their immorality on everyone. Why? Because they know deep down it’s wrong and that this goes against God’s laws. Somehow they feel if they can make everyone accept their lifestyle as normal, then they won’t feel so bad. They need a lot of prayers! But we need to stand up and fight for what is right….
“Freedom consists not in doing what we like, but in having the right to do what we ought.”

Christians are demonstrably the most tolerant people on the planet. But that tolerance coupled with prosperity has too often morphed into passivity. Sometimes it’s the time to turn the other cheek. Sometimes it’s the time over turn the tables of the money changers and to call out misguided leaders as white washed tombs. Christians have every right to their beliefs and should speak them and defend them as necessary.
We life in a bizarre situation. 85% of Americans self identify as Christians. Yet in many ways, we live in a post-Christian culture. It’s unacceptable, even illegal, to act on straightforward biblical principles. It’s illegal in our schools, for example, to study the best selling book of all times, the book that has had more impact on forming cultures than any in history. Does that strike you as odd?

The following is a Prayer that should be prayed at the September 11th memorial. Hope it offends no one.
An interesting prayer was given recently in Kansas at the opening session of their Senate in. It seems prayer still upsets some people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate with a prayer, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:
“Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask Your forgiveness and to seek Your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, “Woe to those who call evil good,” but that is exactly what we have done.
We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.
We confess that we have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your word and call it “Pluralism.”
We have worshiped other gods and called it “Multiculturalism.”
We have endorsed perversion and called it “alternative lifestyle.”
We have exploited the poor and called it “the lottery.”
We have rewarded laziness and called it “welfare.”
We have killed our unborn and called it “choice.”
We have shot abortionists and called it “justifiable.”
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it “building self-esteem.”
We have abused power and called it “politics.”
We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions and called it “ambition.”
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it “freedom of expression.”
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it “enlightenment.”
Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today;
cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent to direct us to the center of Your will, to open our hearts and ask it in the name of Your Son, the living Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.”
*******************
The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those responding negatively. The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India, Africa, and Korea.
Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on “The Rest of the Story” on the radio and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired.
With the Lord’s help, may this prayer sweep over Our nation and truly become our desire, that we again can be called one nation under God.
August 26, 2011 @ 2:47 pm
Excellent. Thank you for sharing this.
The legislators who got up and walked out could not deal with their conscience—nor could they look God in the eye.
August 27, 2011 @ 2:35 pm
We should find out who they are and make sure they don’t have to come back in. They walked out so vote them out, no matter who they are, and put in people who understand christian vales.

We as a nation need to purge this filth from our holy land. Purity is the way to salvation and we need to take a stand against aberrant sexuality, false gods and foreigner hoards.
