The only problem is the NPC holding the sign wouldn’t have a sign saying illegal aliens. That’s hate speech.
He/she/it would have a sign saying undocumented workers. They distort words to stealthily change the Narrative.
a. As if they’re all hard workers and not Welfare leeches
b. As if they’re perfectly legal.
c. As if they aren’t completely alien to our culture, and plan to remain that way.
d. As if their only sin is being “undocumented”. So all we need is some better documentation and they’re all perfect upright citizens.
The other tangential absurdity about wanting open borders is:
a. For real Americans, we’re not real citizens. We’re the invaders and should give all the land back to the Indians.
b. If you’re an illegal and you set foot here for 5 seconds, you’re a full-fledged citizen and need to be rushed to a voting booth.
But the NPC has tuned out all reason. There’s only following the Narrative, no matter how absurd or self-contradictory.
That is so true. I’ve even seen some email chains from other sites, suggesting there IS a campaign to GET the term illegal alien Stricken from the lexicon..
“For real Americans, we’re not real citizens. We’re the invaders and should give all the land back to the Indians.”
According to La Rasa, the Spanish stole the western US from the Aztec; who previously stole the land from Yaqui, Apache, & Comanche, et. al.; which previously settled the area–having displace the other tribes that lived there before.
The Spanish then ceded their right of conquest to one of the several prior Mexican governments; which in turn ceded it to the US.
So a few Mexico-Americans, on behalf of the Spanish Conquistadors, and the Aztec Empire, wish to reclaim the land as an inheritance of the people who stole it from the people who stole it, from the people that it was first stolen from.
Why should the La Rasa care about what the originally conquered natives think about the decedents of Aztec & Spanish Conquistadors reclaiming most of the western US for their “homeland?” After all, La Rasa would say the original Native-Americans lost any right to self-determination the same day the Aztecs invaded or when Spanish armada showed up!
Besides, with a stead influx of “immigrants” from Central America, La Rasa may be shortly displaced by those who can claim more a far older victimhood and grievance at the hands of the Aztec & maybe Mayan Empire before it. Such is the nature modern “diversity & intersectionality” in the PC world of liberals.
Even saying “undocumented workers” implies illegality. We have already established several ways for people to come here to work. Unless these people apply for and are granted a work permit, THEY ARE STILL ILLEGAL! The FACT remains that these people are here and want to come here for FREE STUFF and they don’t give a rat’s patootie for our laws!
THEN REMOVE their capacity to GET that free stuff..
