Support the Pledge of Allegiance On Wednesday, September 14, 2005, U.S. District Judge Lawrence Karlton overturned a 1954 act of Congress which inserted the phrase "under God" after the words "one nation" in the pledge of allegiance. Karlton said the phrase violates the right of school children to be "free from a coercive requirement to affirm God."
I believe America was founded on Judeo-Christian values and principles which are continually being eroded by legislation and court actions.
I believe it's time to say "Enough is enough!" America is truly one nation under God, and the wording in the Pledge of Allegiance should remain as it's been for half a century.
Sincerely,
